The City of Lawndale wants to hear from you! There are lots of ways for you to get involved with the City’s General Plan and Hawthorne Boulevard Specific Plan Update project. Come to one of our future community meetings, participate in a Planning Commission or City Council study session or hearing, or take our community survey.

Your input is very important and what we hear from you and your friends and neighbors will be used to prepare a General Plan and Hawthorne Boulevard Specific Plan for the city that truly reflects the community’s vision and values. Sign-up here to receive periodic updates on the project and hear about new ways to get involved. Your email address will remain private and we will not share it with anyone else.

Community Meetings

The City of Lawndale is excited to engage the community as we plan to update our General Plan and Hawthorne Boulevard Specific Plan. Please see the Community Meetings page for more information about current and past Community Meetings.

Community Surveys

The City of Lawndale welcomes you to share your ideas about living and/or working in our community. What do you love about our community? What would you like to see our community look like in 10 or 20 years? Please share your input by completing the two surveys posted to this website. The first survey is focused on learning more about your vision for the future of Lawndale and the second survey is focused on understanding housing choices in our community. The surveys will be open until further notice.
